What Are 5 Things You Love About Yourself?

Today, we are going to talk about an exercise that can make you feel amazing about yourself. It’s an exercise that will help you learn how to love yourself more, and who doesn’t need more love in their life, right?

The exercise is simple, yet powerful. It involves writing down five things that you love about yourself. Now, I know some of you may find this exercise challenging because it’s not easy to think about what you love about yourself. It’s much easier to think about what other people like about us, but trust me, this exercise is worth the effort.

 

When I did this exercise myself, I found that it was easy to think about what other people liked about me. I first started to think about what I knew other people liked about me. But as I kept writing, I started to realize how amazing I am. It was kind of embarrassing, but at the same time, it was liberating.

 

The purpose of this exercise is to check in with yourself and to check in with your relationship to yourself. It’s a wonderful exercise to take a few minutes to think about how you feel about yourself. And one caution here is, it can be easy to start to think about the things that you’re critical of. It can be easy to start to think about what you don’t like about yourself. But remember, this exercise is only about the positive. What do you love about yourself?

It’s important to note that we are never going to be good at our weaknesses. We should focus on the things that we’re already good at. It’s more than enough. By doing that, by showering love onto ourselves, it also helps us expand more, and we get even better at the things we’re already good at.

So, I’m going to share with you the five things that I love about myself. I love how I show up in the world, smiling, hugging, compassionate. I love that I have the confidence to point out the beauty in another person and shine light on something that maybe they didn’t know about themselves. I love that I am the organizer in our family and organize our outings and our family get-togethers. I love that I create my own reality using my imagination, action, and direction from spirit. And finally, I love that I’m beautiful, smart, and organized.
