 Constant distractions from notifications and emails hinder our ability to stay in the flow.  Danette shares personal experiences of working uninterrupted and the improvements in efficiency and creativity she noticed.

 Preparation is key: Turn off notifications, allocate specific blocks of time, and set up an environment conducive to deep work.  Leveraging peak productivity hours is crucial. Danette suggests having two main flow sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

 Working in a flow state allows for higher-level thinking, creativity, and efficiency.

It provides a strong sense of accomplishment, which is often missing in a distraction-filled workday.
